The Lord had me to perform a prophetic act a few weeks ago. I was worshipping and praising the Lord, and I was FULL of the Holy Spirit. Then the Lord placed someone before me in a vision in the spirit realm. The Lord told me to lay hands on this person in the spirit realm. As I did, I stretched forth my hands, and I felt power leave, and I almost fell over by the sheer power that was released. I asked the Lord, what was that. He said Virtue, and brought back to my remembrance, Luke 8:46 KJV And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. Other translations use the word power.
The Lord gave me a vision of a woman standing, she’s got a long white dress on with bare feet. The wind of the spirit is blowing through her and all around her. She stands resolute and confident because she knows who she is in Him.
She went into the secret place to meet with Him, she returned the Bride of Christ, as terrible as an army with her banners. His banner over her was love.
Terrible is defined as formidably great, strong and powerful, and therefore difficult to deal with if opposed to you:
Upon doing a word study on it. Some define virtue of moral excellence, goodness, noble character, and righteousness. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary which I use a lot, because sometimes you have to go back when a word meant what the word meant, also had other pertinent definitions such as. . . . Power – restraint, strength from straining, stretching, extending that produces effects on other bodies. Legal authority, legal efficacy, power, authority, acting power, something efficacious, chastity, virginity.
Then the Lord was bringing to me the word virgin, virginity, and purity.
The Lord says there have been many seducing lips, but she will not follow the words of others above Her Husband, the King.
Virtue is nothing but voluntary obedience to Truth.
The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. Proverbs 31:11-12
So going back to Luke 8, we see in
Luke 8:43-48 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
Isaiah 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.
Romans 3:10 As it is written and forever remains written, “There is none righteous none that meets God’s standard, not even one.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith firmly guarding the gospel against error. In the future there is reserved for me the victor’s crown of righteousness for being right with God and doing right, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that great day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing.
Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
The Lord is saying when My Bride, the church, stops in her acts of self righteousness, I WILL heal her of her unrighteousness, knowing that her righteousness is ONLY of Me, then VIRTUOUS POWER will flow through her. She will freely give what she has received. She will be the Triumphant Bride of Christ.
