BLESSINGS OVERTAKING YOU …..

By Tiffany Bretana

On Tuesday night, I was given a vision of the mighty rushing wind of the spirit coming forth from behind us. And as the winds blew, a SHIFT OCCURRED & TOUCHED everything in sight before us, even causing a PUSH & CATAPULTING of things.

In Russell Walden’s book Spiritual Meteorology: Understanding the Seven Spirits of God: pages 54-55, he writes North represents the Judgment seat of God, while South represents blessings. Russell Walden references both Psalm 48:2 and Habakkuk 3:3.

Psalm 48:2 Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

Habakkuk 3:3 God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise.

Teman means “south” and “right”

Paran means beauty, glory, ornament.

Russell continues to write, “This speaks of the spiritual direction of your life. There are many verses that speak of drawing near to God, by moving from where you are to where God is. God’s throne is in the “sides of the north”. To draw near to God, is to draw near to His judgement seat in humility, acknowledging our sin, and throwing yourself on His available mercy. So, if you are drawing near to God in the (spiritual) North, then the blessing coming upon you come from the (figurative) South. The scriptures speak of the South as representing blessing and favor. ”

Prophetically speaking we look and face NORTH to God’s throne for His judgments. But from the SOUTH, behind us comes the BLESSINGS & FAVOR of God. The wind of the spirit coming from behind us speaks of that that they shall overtake and even surprise us, not knowing from where they came.

All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 28:2

The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 3:8
