Come Dance with Me

By Maili Super

This weekend, while praying I saw a vision of a beautiful girl dancing the waltz with the Lord. As this vision started the girl was a child and she was standing on the Lord’s feet as He danced around the room teaching her the moves. The girl grew with grace and beauty and the Lord was teaching her more complicated moves of dipping and twirling gracefully. The music was soft and flowing, as was her dress. As the years went by the Lord was teaching this girl how to flow and sway to the tune of His music.

There were times that the girl would miss a step or get out of the beat of the music, the Lord was so patient, He would just pull her a little closer and allow her to feel the movement of His steps. He had been training her for her unveiling, for a long time, and every movement He made with her in His steps were healing. The movement of her steps was like the wind. The feeling of His music, of the rhythm that was played, was the driving force of every step. And she allowed the Lord to lead her gliding across the room.

While this girl danced with the Lord every care in the world melted off of her. She had No pain, No Lack, and No worries, she knew her daddy had her within His Arms. She Knew that He would Never allow her to fall or to fail. When the girl would become distracted by things that went on in the room around her, He would gently tell her “Just Look at Me”.

As she learned to dance in the rhythm of His Love, the Lord would tell her how dazzling she was becoming and how much she had learned. He showed her how the world would see her as His light. The Lord told her how, He would display her as a shining star, for the world to see, and that they would learn to dance again too by watching the inspiration of her love for Him. The Lord tells her you have learned to follow the breeze of My Spirit and now you can teach others how to waltz with Me.

Psalm 30:11-12

You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

John 3:8

The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.
