For the last two days I keep hearing the Frank Sinatra song Come Fly with Me. The part of the song that the Lord keeps replaying over and over again in my head is “Come Fly with Me, we’ll fly, we’ll fly away.” I see a vision, where there was a scene in a movie called, “Catch Me if you Can” where Leonardo DiCaprio, acting like a pilot walking with a group of stewardesses to get on a Pan AM flight.
Pan Am is short for Pan American and according to dictionary.com this is the meaning:
of, relating to, or representing all the countries or people of North, Central, and South America.
I feel this part of the word is referring to all of the natural storms we are seeing in the horizon in and around the Americas. In the movie “Catch Me if you Can” the pilot is really a teenager that posing as a pilot. Oh doesn’t it happens so many times where people try to navigate the storm, alone and without the experience to really know how to do it? I feel that the Lord is telling us that He is the real pilot, and the Only one that knows really how to navigate the storms that rage around us, both in the physical and in the spiritual.
I heard the Lord saying Come Fly with Me.
Child fly above the storm that tries to push back against you, this is your invitation to come up higher. You are going higher than ever before. You will reach New heights you thought you would never reach. I am the guiding force that is calling to you, telling you go this way or that way. The skies are clear above the storm, come up higher and I will show you things from a higher perspective. Your life is in My Hands and there is No need to fear, for I am with you always. If you will move over in the cockpit I will be your pilot, and I know how to steer, clear of all the the obstacles you face. I will show you exactly what it means to live life and that more abundantly. When you fly With me, you will fly 1st Class and have the best seat in the House.
I heard the Lord saying to the enemy, Catch US if you can.
John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
