I started taking prophetic courses in August of 2014. If you’ve read my previous posts, you will know that I was desperate to know and learn to hear the voice of God for myself. Little did I know, I was already hearing and perceiving the Father already. What I learned through the prophetic activation course was that I was a seer. But the course gave me some confidence to hit send by faith. Of course, the Father will not leave you or me there. He’s always about the UPWARD AND FORWARD MOTION. So, I was participating in a global intercessory team for my mentor in the prophetic. After we just had a powerful time in intercessory prayer, the Lord gave me a prophetic word for my mentor. I was like but Lord, He’s a prophet. He knows so much more than I do. Who am I to give him a word? Then the Lord said to me quite frankly, Tiffany IF MY PROPHETS WON’T PROPHESY, THEN HOW CAN I DO A NEW THING? That settled it right then and there. I typed up the prophetic word very quickly and sent it immediately. You see the Lord had dealt with me quite a few times. I was one, who didn’t have a voice and if I voiced anything prior to, I didn’t feel that anyone listened. The Lord had me to speak up to my Christian lawyer, and He spoke to me through Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe. Then the Lord gave me the example of how in Old Testament times, the prophets of old were prophesying of a time when righteousness would be by faith and not by the justification by works alone. Just imagine yourself being one of the prophets spoken of in the Bible, where they had to speak a word to a wicked king, wondering if they would be rewarded with punishment or worse.
Every act of obedience is in preparation for your future.
While going through the prophetic courses, one of the things that was established within me is to take responsibility for every word that we speak. What does that look like? Any word that we receive and release from the Lord, we don’t know how others will take it, positively or negatively, but we still have to own it and release the outcome to the Lord, whether met with appreciation or a slammed door, and quite often you have to forgo having an opinion (judgement) about what the Lord gives you to release. Who you fear (reverence), you will exalt. There are plenty of times, I have not been comfortable releasing a word, but the Father didn’t ask for me to be comfortable, but to obey.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
Matthew 23:12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
Psalm 19:9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true, they are righteous altogether.
Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
