The Lord says this to you ……
And said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord,
because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—
blessing I will bless you,
and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore;
and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
because you have obeyed My voice.”
Isaac – was the son of PROMISE to Abraham and Sarah
What promise have you laid at the altar of the Lord?
The Lord says He has sworn by Himself……
Hebrews 6:13-18 For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
Those two immutable things we see in the Amplified bible is His promise & His oath, for which it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie, we who have fled to Him.
Genesis 22:19 So Abraham returned to his servants, and they got up and went with him to Beersheba; and Abraham settled in Beersheba.
Beersheba means oath of seven, to seven oneself, well of oath, or well of seven.
Wells are referred to as “a place where water issues from, a spring or fountain.”
In John 4 and 7, Jesus said He is the living water.
John 4:10, 13-14 Jesus answered her, “If you knew about God’s gift of eternal life, and who it is who says, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him instead, and He would have given you living water eternal life.” Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. But the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water satisfying his thirst for God welling up continually flowing, bubbling within him to eternal life.”
Jesus said the Holy Spirit was the rivers of living water that will flow continuously from your innermost being.
John 7:37-39 Now on the last and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’” But He was speaking of the Holy Spirit, whom those who believed in Him as Savior were to receive afterward. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified raised to honor.
You have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
So many inferences can be drawn …. oath of seven (completion), to seven (complete) oneself….
Seven, biblically signifies complete, divine perfection, totality, something that is finished.
Seven according to angelfire.com says, He took the perfect world number FOUR and added to it the perfect divine number, THREE, and got SEVEN, the most sacred number to the Hebrews. It was earth crowned with heaven — the four-square earth plus the divine COMPLETENESS OF GOD. So we have SEVEN expressing COMPLETENESS through union of earth with heaven.
Be on earth as it is in Heaven – Matthew 6:10
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first (Matthew 19:29-30).
I hear the Lord saying …… SETTLE IN BEERSHEBA, become fixed, decide, agree, settle in as in a dispute, take up residence, to come to rest that I have sworn by Myself, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld from Me what I have asked of you, I shall in blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you, and you shall possess the gate of your enemies, and through you the nations shall be blessed.
