THE GLORY OF GOD GOES WITH YOU

By Tiffany Bretana

Yesterday evening, while on a prayer call …. I received a vision of a sunflower 🌻 soaking in the sun, but it was vibrant and radiant, in the middle of the sunflower was the abundance of seeds contained within the center of this flower.

Then immediately, I heard the lyrics of the song, Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers.

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

It’s not warm when she’s away

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And she’s always gone too long

Anytime she goes away

Wonder this time where she’s gone

Wonder if she’s gone to stay

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And this house just ain’t no home

Anytime she goes away

And I know, I know, I know, I know,

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know,

Hey, I oughtta leave young thing alone

But ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

Only darkness every day

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And this house just ain’t no home

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

I inquired of the Lord, what was the meaning of this, these two instances by themselves seemed opposites of each other …… to see a vibrant and radiant sunflower full of seeds within it’s core, then hearing …… Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone.

The Lord is saying ….

There are many of you …… whether it was a relationship, marriage, ministry, job, alignments, and connections where others have departed from you, left you, kept you under their thumb, belittled, despitefully used you, and/or cast you aside/away as useless. You refused to repay evil for evil, but repay evil with good. Many felt that you were being a doormat for them to wipe their feet upon, but you were following the leading of the Holy Spirit, for it is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. Don’t get weary in well-doing for at the right time you shall reap a harvest if you do not give up.

For some in some of these situations, you are at the place where the Lord has you turning the other cheek.

Some of you, the Lord has had you to love them from afar by prayer and intercession but yet keeping your distance, as the Lord is mindful of you and knows best, even though it has been hard and even unbearable at times to watch these loved ones from afar, liken to the Father and the prodigal son in Luke 15.

Some of you, the precipice of time has come, you have stood in faith, in prayer and intercession, but yet the hardness of their hearts and the pride of life would not allow these ones to come to their senses. The Lord is saying thus far and no more. The moment has now past, they shall see that once I have lifted My hand …. that the anointing, the blessing, the favor, the glory that resides within you will leave with you. I will plant you where you shall flourish under the brightness and glory of where I am taking you. They will see and know …. I have declared Ichabod (the glory has departed) over that situation. They that have spoken all manner of evil against shall see and know that I shall be glorified in you, for they will see and know that love personified, Christ in you, has departed from their presence.

Word to the wise …. seek the Lord while He may be found. And like the Lord Jesus (Luke 4:17-21), find out where He has you in the Word.

Mark 6:10-11 Also He said to them, “In whatever place you enter a house, stay there till you depart from that place. And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

Genesis 31 Jacob Flees from Laban

Genesis 31:36-42 Then Jacob was angry and rebuked Laban, and Jacob answered and said to Laban: “What is my trespass? What is my sin, that you have so hotly pursued me? Although you have searched all my things, what part of your household things have you found? Set it here before my brethren and your brethren, that they may judge between us both! These twenty years I have been with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock. That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it. You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. There I was! In the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night, and my sleep departed from my eyes. Thus I have been in your house twenty years; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times. Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.”
