By Tiffany Bretana I heard the Lord say the word “beachcomber”. I also heard, they are coming onto the shore.
A beachcomber is defined as a vagrant who makes a living by searching beaches for articles of value and selling them. Wikitionary defines it as a seaman, who is not prepared to work but hangs around port areas off the charity of others (https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/beachcomber).
Some commentaries elude to that the heathen are as the raging sea. Some inferences can be drawn from scripture verses.
Then I heard the Lord say the prodigals are like those coming onto to the beach. These beachcomber (prodigals) had metal detectors looking for hidden treasure. Then immediately came into my remembrance 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty], so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves.
Are you ready?
The heathen/prodigals are looking for treasure. We have the Treasure in earthen vessels.
